Re: Day 134 - Evening - voice
[she's not sure how she feels about that, now she's thinking about it. Carolina doesn't want to be part of a second project..but that wasn't what he'd been aiming for. Was it?]
I'd offer but I don't think you'd be allowed out even if you hadn't grounded yourself. [not by himself, anyway] But There's always tomorrow.
Day 134 - Evening - voice
If we all did want to round up and throw in as an organized group I have ideas on how to not end with everyone fighting and dying within a few months but that's not really directing. thing one being it's voluntary, there's no secrets and Malcolm is your number two if we do squad work since he's been a part of a military that didn't end in blood and tears, shit like that.
It's. Having ideas and being paranoid and wanting everyone safe. There's no war here. There's surviving.
Day 134 - Evening - voice
[but then, aside from the faint slop and slosh of water as she turns around to cross her arms on the lip of the hottub, Carolina is silent as she listens, pillowing her chin against one hand. Listens to what he says, for what he doesnt say, and this. That worry, that concern for his team and wanting to take action but not--like before.
This is the York she knows. Not the man who let his temper boil over, but the security specialist with a sideways style and easy grin.]
Even now, you're just trying to do the right thing. By your friends. By your people. It's why--[the words stall in her throat, and she clears it carefully, splashing a little as a distraction; for him or herself, she'll never tell] --It's why you're a good man, York. One who's earned the right to be paranoid, after all we've lived through. [and...died..though. but she's trying not to think about that. because:]
We'll survive. [she'll make sure of it.]

[ He did NOT fuck up Andrew's measurements. ]
I've been delegating! I have. Shit just...I don't want to force people into shit they don't want to be involved in. There's no requirement here.

I'm glad to hear it. [Attempts to forcefully enlist others wouldn't likely end well.] Though you need to remember to step back from time to time, too. Get too caught up, too close, you end up missing the bigger picture.
Trust me, I know.
